nice to meet you!

I’m Liv!

As a kid, my Grammy taught me family recipes during after-school visits; my Grampy was always ready to enjoy a plate of pasta and a glass of red wine with us. Time spent with my Nana and Grandpa included homemade waffles and fried dough made on a well-seasoned cast iron.

“Falling in love with cooking was easy for me - I do it every day.”

My mother still makes the most comforting chicken noodle soup I’ve ever had and my dad’s pizza is so kick-ass I crave it every time I’m away from home. Some of my favorite memories with my sisters are of us three laughing with each other over home-cooked meals in my sister’s Venice apartment.

Cooking has been a huge part of my life, but the decision to pursue a culinary degree was not an obvious choice! After attending two years of college for an unrelated major, I took a leap of faith and transferred to Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.

While my formal training is centered in classic French and Italian cuisine, my work experience spans a wider range. I’ve worked in restaurants on both the East and West coast cooking everything from modern Peruvian to tapas with a Mediterranean flare. Living in Los Angeles has not only expanded my palate, but has allowed me to work alongside celebrated private chefs and restauranteurs who further my culinary expertise and encourage my creativity.

If you’re looking to host an event where simple, delicious dishes, quality produce and eye-catching plating are the focus, I’m here to take the lead! I look forward to working with you to create lasting memories for you and your guests!
